A project implementing a compiler and stack-based virtual machine for a custom programming language with space-themed syntax. AST is a statically-typed, C-like language, built in C++ with a space-exploration theme. Keywords replace standard C/C++ syntax to create a unique feel while maintaining familiar control flow structures.

A project reimplementing C++'s std::string class from scratch using dynamic memory allocation and raw character pointers. This project involved building a fully custom String class in C++ without using the standard library's std::string. The goal was to demonstrate a deep understanding of dynamic memory management, pointer arithmetic, copy semantics, and operator overloading.

About Me
I went to Butler University and McKendree University for my undergraduate degree in Computer Science. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.8729 while also being a member of the Robotics club!
I played football for Butler University where I was a 1st Team All-American at the D1 FCS level. I also played at McKendree University where I was a D2 Transfer All-American and 3x 1st Team All-Conference wide receiver. At McKendree University I also broke five records! Check out my highlights ↗.
I'm a big gamer - I play mostly Minecraft and souls-like games such as Elden Ring, but I've played many different games throughout my life. The competitive game I currently play is Valorant.
I love anime and manga - it's one of my biggest hobbies. At this time I've watched over 150 different anime/manga series and movies. My favorite 5 right now are: 1. Vagabond, 2. One Piece, 3. Naruto, 4. Attack on Titan, and 5. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion,
I've been with my beautiful girlfriend for over 5 years now! She's amazing and continues to push me to be the best version of myself. She also has over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube - @amandaekstrand.
I love dogs - I've had them all throughout my childhood. I have two dogs: Alabama (Bam), a male bully pit, and Baby, a female red nose pit. They have their own Instagram account at @babyandbama!
